The Law Of Attraction Taught In 3 Easy Steps

Before we get into this article I would like to point out that there are obviously very different definitions of the law of attraction scattered throughout the thousands of self-help courses, audio CDs, movies and websites out there.

This is my particular view of the law of attraction and how you can use it in your life in a practical manner.

I personally think that some of the people out there are way off in their definition and description of the law of attraction or seriously lacking as far as the complete process of its use.

What Is The Law Of Attraction?

The law of attraction states that your thoughts, actions and feelings attract similar thoughts feelings and actions. So basically…”Whatever you think becomes real.”

This means that if you are constantly thinking about disease or being sick, chances are you are or will become sick eventually because you are moving toward it with your thoughts, actions and feelings.

On the reverse side, if you are thinking about health and vitality, chances are you are going to think, feel and act in accordance with health and vitality and either are or will become a healthy individual.

When you strip it down to its core, the law of attraction is nothing more than a new age spin on “Positive Thinking”.

Sure, there are additional factors such as visualization and taking action but deep down these are just accents on “Think Positive.”

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to put down the law of attraction by any means, I firmly believe that it’s proper application is and will continue to change lives.

I’m just trying to give a different perspective to some people who may not quite understand the law or may think that it’s just a bunch of new age wish wash because it certainly isn’t.

How Do I Use The Law Of Attraction?

“Okay, so how do I use the law of attraction in my life?”

Good question.

I believe that the law of attraction has three important steps…

1) Decide What It Is That You Want
2) Imagine Yourself In The Moment Of Having What You Want
3) Take Actions Congruent With What You Want

Now let’s drill deeper down into each of these steps...

1) Decide What It Is You Want

This really isn’t too hard of a step. Get a piece of paper and write down everything that you want in detail.

If you want a $50,000, write down that you want $50,000 dollars. If you want to go on a world cruise, write down that you want to go on a world cruise. If you want to marry the girl of your dreams, write down that you want to marry the girl of your dreams.

The goal here isn’t to analyze anything too much. Write down everything that you want in detail and just get it on paper as quickly as possible.

2) Imagine Yourself In The Moment Of Having What You Want

This step is just some simple visualization. Sit back with your paper that’s line with all of the things that you want and read each item one at a time.

After you read a line, close your eyes and imagine being in the very moment in time of having that want or goal a reality. Look around, baste in the pride of it’s achievement.

Do this for each of your items on your list.

3) Take Actions Congruent With What You Want

Now, this is where so many people get the law of attraction wrong. Most people (mainly because of the way the law is marketed in self-help courses) think that they can simply imagine what they want and it will become a reality.

I’m sorry, this just isn’t the case.

You need to actually take action and the action that you take needs to be congruent with what you want.

If you want $50,000 and you got out and get a newer care with higher payments, higher insurance and all the bells and whistles added one, that’s a step away from your goal of having $50,000.
If you want to be healthier and you drive happily to the fried chicken drive through, that’s not congruent with what you want.

However, if you turn down the new car and put that money into savings or into an action that multiplies your money such as a business venture or investment of some kind, you are moving toward your goal.

If you turn down your friends invitation for breakfast at the local pancake house because everyone you know is going to be there, you are taking an action congruent with what you want.

You can really break this process down into three words once you’ve read this article a time or two and used the information it contains…

Decide, Imagine, Act Congruently

If you can decide in detail what you want, imagine having it and act in congruence with those wants and mental images, you can achieve everything that you want in life.

Love & Peace,
